All in all, it's a wonderful blessing to have Grace at home. It's so much of a relief to be able to care for Grace AND her brothers all at once, and it means much more time with the family and less money spent on gas. The relief is very easy to pick out of Mom and Dad's tone of voice.
Mom and dad are still getting settled in their new home, slowly putting pictures on the walls and such. They like their home very much, and their relationship with the day-nurse started off very well! What's more, by some sheer "coincidence" mom and dad live next door to a part time nurse who cared for Grace her first night in ICU and 2 doors down from the mother of a child with cerebral palsy.
Grace has been very accustomed to laying in bed for the last 10 weeks or so. One thing that mom and dad thought might make for a good change of pace is for Grace to sit in a bean bag. If anybody has an extra one lying around or comes across one at a Garage sale sometime, mom and dad would be up for acquiring one. Mom also mentioned that she would feel better at the new house with the addition of a baby monitor. If someone were to assist there it would also be helpful. Please contact info@gracegoodday.com if you can help with either of these.
Please pray for:
- A continued successful transition
- Grace's complete restoration
- Financial provision for the family (info@gracegoodday.com if you're interested in helping)

Praise God for Grace's successful return to family life and new surroundings. It is wonderful that the family is together again.
I command the storming to stop in Jesus' Name and her brain and body to "Wake Up." I invite the Holy Spirit to repair and replace anything that is damaged or missing in Grace's brain and body. She is a blood-bought child of God and God has a good plan for Grace and her family.
Praise God that Grace is getting "out of the house" and doing "new" things and that she is getting rest after doing them. I speak life to Grace's brain and body in Jesus' Name.
Praise God for the support system that the parents and Grace have with the nurse next door and the nurses that care for Grace at home.
Praise God that Mom and Dad are getting settled in their new home and that they really like it. Praise God that every need is met according to His riches in Christ Jesus.
Praise God for the provision of a bean bag chair and baby monitor for Grace.
Thank you sweet Jesus, for the encouraging experiences in and around the new home for this family! Only you could orchestrate the neighbors being who they are, and the creative thinking going on with mom and dad and the day nurse! We praise you for giving us thoughts and spirit which takes us beyond what has been for the last 10 weeks!
Father God, give rest as needed for dear Grace and for the family. Continue to shine brightly in all who encounter Grace and her family. Bring joy and peace of mind in each one.
We recognize you Oh Father, as the Great Physician and we continue to seek your wisdom and your intervention in each hour for Grace. We come to you pleading for healing and full restoration for dear Grace. All in the name of Jesus, giving honor and glory to HIM!
Praising God for His unspeakble gifts!!!
