Holding her head high

I am finally posting and everyone cheered and said, "it is about time!". Mom had lots to report during our last conversation.

Grace is holding her head up which is quite an accomplishment. She is moving both her feet and legs. She is leaning forward a bit when in the wheel chair or when sitting with Mom in effort to give a hug. She continues to become more and more alert as they wean her off of medications.

Her feet seem to have corrected themselves and there is a good chance that surgery will not be necessary.

Mom is considering requesting another MRI to check on brain activity/function. Mom knows that Grace is improving day in and day out and does not need to medical proof, but she feels that it would benefit some of those working with Grace. The majority of those helping Grace medically are on the same page as Mom as far as believing for Grace's recovery, but there are a few who do not share that view. Therefore, their care for Grace is focused on "sustaining of life" rather than on rehabilitation. Mom thinks an MRI (aka: medical proof) may help to change their attitude when working with Grace.

Please Pray For:
  • Continued daily signs of improvement for Grace
  • Strong and united marriage
  • Complete healing and restoration for Grace
  • Wisdom on Grace's continued care
  • Financial Support (If you are interested in this area please contact info@gracegoodday.com)

Praise God that Grace is completely healed by Jesus' stripes.

Praise God that Grace is holding her head up and moving both her feet and legs. Praise God that she gives hugs. Praise God that she is becoming more and more alert as medications are eliminated.

Praise God that her feet have straightened and that she will walk and run again.

Praise God that Mom's faith is strong and that she is expecting Grace's complete healing. Praise God that most of Grace's workers are in agreement for a full recovery. Praise God that those who aren't sure will see God's miracles very soon. Praise God for rehabilitation.

Praise God for Mom and Dad's strong, loving, happy marriage.
They bless each other daily.

Praise God for His financial provision for this family daily.

Shalom - Nothing missing, nothing broken.

Lord, we give You all of the praise for Grace's continued recovery. We ask for continued wisdom for both parents and doctors for medical and daily-life decisions. We ask that You would continue to bless parents, medical staff, grandparents, little brothers and Grace, giving them peace and joy during the day-to-day recovery. In Your name we pray. Amen.
