Continued...

Also, Abigail is becoming better and better at holding her head up. She can do it even while getting bumped and jostled by the boys. fShe loves to cuddle and is learning how to hug. Please join with us in praying that she will be holding her own head up by the time we are ready to start working with a stander, sometime early next year.

Abigail continues to work with her hands and demonstrate that she can intentionally push buttons to play with toys. We are still looking into switch toys to give her back some control over her life. Hopefully, this will also be an option for communication devices in the not too distant future.

Our biggest challenges right now are weight gain and recertification for therapies. Abigail was just switched to a new formula, and we will revisit the doctor in about a month to see if there has been any improvement. Does anyone have any 7/8 girls clothes? Regarding therapies, it seems like they are sometimes having difficulty recertifying us, saying there has not been enough progress. We are currently taking a different approach and have applied to the Perlman Center to see if we may have more success here.

We would love to hear Abigail's sweet voice again, so please keep that in your prayers. So far, we have only heard a few accidental vocalizations which she attempts to reproduce, so far without success.

The boys are awake. Off I go.

Praise God that Abigail is regaining strength to hold her head up and that she loves to cuddle and hug.

Praise God that her motor skills are returning and that she can push buttons on toys.

Praise God that all of Abigail's needs are provided regarding recertification for therapies and wisdom to control the weight gain.
I believe God for favor with those who are making the decisions regarding this.

Praise God that Abigail's speech is being restored in Jesus' Name. She will soon be able to speak words voluntarily and communication will be restored.

I speak life to Abigail in every part of her body that needs restoration. She is a new creation in Christ Jesus, old things have passed away and all things are made new. Jesus is Lord over Abigail and she is healed by His stripes.

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to update us. As a mother of three, I know the value of five quiet (or mostly quiet) minutes.

Let's pray.

Lord, we praise You that You are in control of everything, whether we think it's important or not. We thank You for giving Grace the ability to hold her head up, we thank You for brothers that like to snuggle and hug, and most of all we thank You for an end to the storming.

We also lift up the needs that this family still has. We pray that Grace would be able to hold her head up all day long, particularly as they move toward a stander. We continue to ask for wisdom regarding rehabilitation, toys, medications and daily life. We also ask that You would meet daily needs for finances, medical care, rest and joy. Help Mom and Dad to get a day's work done every day and to be content with a day's work.

We also continue to pray for healthy little boys and a healthy marraige.

We ask these things in Your name, that You would be glorified through all that happens. Amen.
