Moving

There are lots of developments today.

Grace has been storming for much of today, although it is noteworthy that the storming hasn't been raising Grace's blood pressure as much as it once was. Also, over the last week or so the pattern has been 2 days of no storming followed by a full day of storming, and medication has been ineffective against the day of storming.

A consultation with the doctors led to the idea of attempting to keep the every-third-day-storming pattern while only using methods that could be used after Grace returns home. If Grace can be stabilized using home-approved methods, it makes it more likely that Grace will return home on the schedule discussed previously.

Meanwhile, back at the "ranch" (the Grace-friendly home that the family is preparing to move to), things are coming along well. Mom and Dad have signed a lease for the new place, and are planning to move in next weekend. The home doesn't have a fridge, which would be a bit of a challenge. Someone has graciously volunteered to purchase one for the family, but if anyone in proximity to the family is willing to part with a spare unused fridge sitting around the house, that might be a preferable option. (please mail info@gracegoodday.com if you fit into this category.)

While on the topic of moving next weekend, the family needs help. Mom just had gall-bladder surgery last Friday, is still recovering, and doesn't need to be lifting heavy things. Yet, Mom and Dad have an entire household worth of stuff that needs to be packed up and moved. People have been very gracious in volunteering to help here! If you could help and would like more information on helping in this way, please e-mail inf@gracegoodday.com, and we'll hook you up!

Please pray for:
  • Praise for so many awesome people volunteering to help out!
  • Complete healing for mom and Grace
  • The blessing of a refrigerator in whatever form it chooses to come.
  • Wisdom and endurance to work out the details of Grace's return home
  • Financial provision for the family (info@gracegoodday.com if you would like information)

Dear Family,
Glo and I can help pack Mon., Tues., and Weds evenings. I will see you Mon. around 4:00 as we had pre-arranged. My husband will see what boxes he can scrounge at work.
Love you,
Pam

Will keep you in my prayers. I'm praying that you rest well Sunday and have some family time, in addition to meeting Grace's needs.
