Mom stated, "This is definitely a spiritual attack!" This may sound strange to some, but the fact that the devil is attacking means that our fighting is working! The devil is not pleased, to say the least, that the body of Christ is standing together in this and fighting for this little girl's life. This situation has already brought SO much glory to God and it will continue to until Grace's complete restoration and throughout all of Grace's life. We must stand against this spiritual attack and fight like we all have never fought before. God has given mom an incredible measure of faith and positive outlook despite the natural circumstances.
I am happy to report that Grace's "brain storming" has shown improvement! Before Grace was experiencing these storming episodes every half hour and touch was also setting them off. Now, with a new medicine Grace is only experiencing the storming every two hours and touch does not seem to be setting them off anymore. PRAISE GOD!
Keep the comments, prayers and scriptures coming - the family needs them more now then ever! If you are having problems posting a comment e-mail info@GraceGoodDay.com with your problem and we will try to help you through it or just e-mail us the comment and we will get it on the blog and/or read it to the family!
Please pray for:
- Mom's health and her gall bladder - supernatural healing of two people in their family would be quite a testimony :)
- Complete Healing and Restoration for Grace
- Dad's strength to fight for his daughter double time as Mom is in the hospital herself
- Immunity/protection from the flu for anyone involved with Grace
- Financial provision (please e-mail info@GraceGoodDay.com if interested in finding out more information concerning helping in this way)
- That even this will bring GLORY to GOD!
- Pray against future spiritual attacks on this family

He Knows My Name
Written by: Tommy Walker
I have a Maker
He formed my heart
Be fore even time began
My life was in his hands
He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
and He hears me when I call
I have a Father
He calls me His own
He'll never leave me
No matter where I go
He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
and He hears me when I call
WE LOVE YOU!!!

Prayer for health and peace for the entire family. I'm also praying for restful sleep and moments of laughter in the midst of the stress. If God is faithful to bring beauty from ashes, certainly he can be glorified here and now.
To Grace's Family ~
We just wanted you to know that "friends of friends of friends" are praying for you and your precious little girl. . . A dear friend of mine who attends West County Community Church in St. Louis passed along your prayer request last week, and we have been praying for Grace ever since. The strength of your faith is extraordinary. What a testimony to so many ~ including us! May God continue to give you strength, comfort, peace, HOPE during this difficult time.
Our prayer team at Three Rivers Church and my son's Bible classmates at Aurora Christian School have been uplifting your daughter and asking the Lord for a miracle of HEALING. May our awesome Creator touch her body and brain and restore her completely ~ in Jesus' name and for His glory!
We look forward to hearing good news about Grace's recovery. . . and having the opportunity to "go and tell what great things the Lord has done!"

Some people are having trouble posting comments so we are posting them for us - they are e-mailing them to us. This is from my college roommate!
Mom and Dad, there are so many people that do not know you or Grace that are praying for your family. My boyfriend Steve and I are praying as well as my roommate and several other friends out in Virginia, my parents in Maryland, and my sister and brother-in-law in Wisconsin! As a pediatric nurse, your situation is very dear to my heart and I pray often. From everything that I have read and heard, Grace is very blessed to have such amazing parents! May you be surrounded by His love during this time!

I would like to encourage Mom & Dad to stand together in faith looking to our heavenly Father and Healer. The LORD is so powerful, He created all things from single cells to intricate humans, and in comparison to His mega power, His love for us far exceeds it. Our Heavenly Father loves you Mom & Dad and Grace. For every trial we face, He has a plan and it is perfect. I pray to Him daily to give you strength together to face this difficult trial. The LORD is also using you and your prayer support to witness to Mom & Dad in the next room who stand vigil with their own child. I have included them in my prayersas well. Our Father hears our prayers and promises to answer them, I stand in Faith that He has already healed Grace and in His time she will get up from that bed walk and talk with you in her own precious way. Our Father loves us so much, we just have to trust Him and know His Will, will be done. I pray Our Holy Father embraces you and protects you at this vulnerable time. Grace is His precious daughter and you, Mom & Dad, are His pride and joy. Peace be with you.

This is from a friend I taught with a couple years back:
We continue to stand with you guys in faith for Grace's total and complete healing! God created this child for a hope and a purpose, and we will continue to pray that the enemy's schemes against her will fail. God has a plan for her life, and she will touch the lives of many. We pray that the Lord will continue the good work He has begun in her.
You don't know us, but we (and many others!) are "bearing with you in love" (Ephesians 4:2). Our cell family at Belmont Church is praying for you, as well as the members of my parents' church, Church of the Redeemer. You have many, MANY brothers and sisters lifting you up right now. Even in those dark moments, remember that you are not alone. God Himself knows what it's like to watch his child suffer. He sent His Son so that your daughter may be healed.
In Him,

The blog won't let me post a comment, but I wanted to let Grace's mom and
dad know that we're praying for them. The God we serve is able to do far
more than we could ever ask or imagine. We pray that God would bring
complete healing to her body, and that there would be no lasting effects of
this accident. We pray that the Lord would release Grace's parents from
any guilt, and that He would release FAITH in this couple. We pray that the
testimony of this family would be an encouragement to many.

Praying for you all daily. Everyone at Faith Missionary has been praying also.

We are praying for Mom, Dad and boys, along with Grace. God's blessings are overflowing to you.
Every need is being met abundantly. Grace's healing is coming rapidly. She is God's precious child and he is caring for her with His unlimited and unfailing love and power.
Mom and Dad,
God has made a promise to his children that he will not present you with any challenge that you thru him can not handle. Wow... you must be very strong in faith that god would present you with this challenge. I'm so sorry that you have to go thru this... my thoughts and prayers are with you both. I believe God is using your story as a testimony of his strength. He has the power to heal Grace and that is what Brooke, Brendan, Matt and I will be praying for daily. We will not only be praying for healing but full healing. The kind of healing that comes undeniably from God himself. Please..stay strong and stand in love with one another. Lots of prayer are being lifted on her behalf...God sure can't help but listen. Love you guys

Dear Family of Grace~
You have been in our constant prayers since we learned that Grace was in the hospital. We stand with you in praying that Grace would be brought to complete health and healing. We believe firmly that our God who is "able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine" (Ephesians 3:20) is more than capable of miraculously healing Grace and Mom. We know that God has Grace and all of her family wrapped in His arms and we pray for protection against spiritual attack. We praise God for His faithfulness and the lives that will be changed (have already been changed) by your testimony!
Love from Friends of Friends,
Megan, Mike, and Luke
P.S. Every time I look at my kitchen towel I pray for you...the verse on the towel is from Hebrews 5:11 "Faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see." We will continually pray in faith!!
Hi Mom and Dad,
You don't know me , but we are members of the same church.and I live around the corner fom Heather I. Your youngest is precious!!
I have been praying for you and even sent the info and request on to my parents in Greenville.SC. Their church has Grace in their prayers too.
True Stories about the powerful way that God moves are always a faith builder and inspiration for me, so I thought you too might be encouraged by this one.
A dear friend of mine told me of her unceasing prayer for her 3 year old grandson Sam. Seems that Sam could not speak even at 3. The neurologists said his brain was ok, but that one part was not communicating with the other so that he could get the words out. The family went on vacation and when Grandma greeted them in their driveway upon their return, Samuel said "I love you grandma" . He was completely healed and in fact has never stopped talking since. I think he is in 1st grade now, and has tested to be a genius . The doctors cannot explain what happened , but the family knows the ressurection power of God. Life where there is none. He is Almighty God.
May the God of all Comfort and Peace guard your hearts and minds this day and always,
Your sister In Jesus
My name is Kim and we volunteer in the baby builders nursery. I don't think we have ever been formally introduced but we have held and played with both of yoru sons. They are so precious. We haven't yet had the chance to met your daughter but you may have met ours, Chloe. She is in the 2's Sunday school that I believe you have taught. We have been praying for your family ever since we heard the news. We would also like the information on the fund so we could help you financially. I bought a card for you but wasn't sure how to get it to you (also, it is an overwhelming experience and words aren't able to fully express all the thoughts and prayers and comfort we want you to know are being sent to your family). I just learned of the website last night at our small group meeting. Therefore, I will share the card's words with you now:
There's a saying that God never gives us more burdens than we can bear...
And if that's true, then God must think you're very, very strong
because this surely isn't an easy time for you.
I wish there was a way to shelter you from the pain and unhappiness,
because if there was, I would.
But all I can really do is be here for you and keep you in my prayers.
You are a child of God.
He made you.
He loves you
and He will not forsake you...that I know for sure.
So hang on, keep your faith, and know that you are loved...
because believe me, you most certainly are!
-Linda Lee Elrod
We have sent your prayer request to family and friends in MI, FL, NC, IN and beyond...know that we are all praying for your precious family. Praying the comfort that only God can provide and that it will sustain you.
"Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles..." II Corinthians 1:3,4
You are a true example of faith and an inspiration of trusting God. Amazing things have already happened and we pray for all that will happen. We especially pray for the physical strength of your family as you deal with the flu and potential gal bladder issues.
Sincerely,
Toby, Kim and Chloe Groves

Bloom where you're planted!
I think we should pray for their relationship as well. I know Mom really loves Dad. I would hate for this to effect their marriage. It's easy when you have little ones to take your eyes off one for a second to care for a brother or sister. I don't know how many times I've been in that position with Brendan and Brooke. I feel so awful for him and how he must be feeling. Dad is wonderful fun with the kids. Brooke and Brendan always loved it when they came over because he would play with them.
*** This is from my mom.
Tami:
I'll remember her in my prayers. I copied your e-mail and put it in my 'Devotional Book', that way I'll remember to call her by name when I pray.
Your Grace is in a good hospital. It is one of the best in the country for trauma cases such as this.
I'll keep her in my prayers.
Love,
Mom
