Grace had another 3-hour storming episode that attending doctor refused to stop. When confronted with several articles implying that storming has negative health effects, the doctor made it clear that he doesn't care what the articles say, he has experience and will do as he pleases.
Grace has a Tracheotomy scheduled for Monday at approx. 1:15pm. This is a step toward Grace being able to leave the ICU.
Mom is going to see a doctor next Thursday about having gall bladder surgery. She'd like to take care of the issue before it becomes an emergency.
Ephesians 6:12 says "For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. "
Please pray for:
- Grace's complete recovery
- Mom's complete recovery
- Doctors willing to cooperate with mom and dad
- Financial Provision for mom and dad. (e-mail info@GraceGoodDay.com if you're interested in helping.)

Well dear friends, we will now be praying for the doctor very specifically, for improved bedside manner AND for the ability to listen to mom and dad and their concerns AND for more appropriate responses!!! Continuing to pray for healing for Grace, for mom and for dad, and peace and an extra measure of faith and encouragement in this day.
We are honored to be prayer partners with you all now and in the days ahead...standing together because we believe our God is able!
We love you!

My Oh My,
Mom and Dad, I do not know how I would react to being treated that way by some one that was in a care giving position or any one for that matter. You are both Grace's on site advocates. We are all standing behind you. I believe you know Grace better than any one.
Stand strong and tall for your baby.
I will continue to pray that you receive the respect that every one deserves no matter what the situation.
I miss seeing you guys, but know that you are in my heart and on my mind all the time.
I am working behind the scenes to come up with some relief to help you all.
Give Grace a kiss and hug from me and when she is ready for a new hair style or changing her blue toe polish, I would love to be there to help you.
Much love.

You're doing a great job being Grace's advocate. I know it is easy to grow weary, but remember that God will give you the strength to get through this. We'll continue to lift you up in prayer as you fight for your little girl.

I thank God that Grace is coming closer to the recovery floor. We continue to pray for
the doctors/nurses attending her now. We pray that the knowledge/information you need
to help communicate with the doctors will come to you. We thank God for his proctection
over moms health and that He will continue to keep you all strong. We pray that He will
continue to protect you all individually and especially your marriage. You are a team and
we are all behind you cheering you on.
It has been said, "the test of our faith is when the problems come and we are tempted to
despair, to drift, and to throw out the things that are really important in life. Character is
revealed in a crisis, not made in a crisis. The safest thing to do when we get into a storm
is to drop our anchors. Just stand still. Situations change, and sands of time shift. But
the Bible says that those who put their trust in God are immovable like Mount Zion
(Ps.125:1) The first anchor is The Presence of God (Acts 27:23-24). The second anchor
is God's Purpose (Acts 27:24), a specific purpose and plan for our lives. The third anchor
is God's Promise (Acts 27:25)."
Continue to stand strong knowing that God is "close to the brokenhearted and saves those
you are crushed in spirit (Ps 34:18)" and we are all behind you as well, praying for the
restoration of Grace's brain.
