Ice cream and a Movie

Mom was sending dad out for ice cream and a movie when I talked to her. They were planning on having some much needed down time just the two of them. This is an answer to prayer in and of itself!

The family went to look at apartments today and they believe they have found the perfect place. It is 1400 square feet which is MUCH larger than their current place. It is two bedrooms with a den which is where Grace would be. The den is right off of the main living area. The apartments is 5 minutes from their current place so Dad will still be very close to work.

Dad and the boys spent the day at the zoo while Mom was at the hospital. Grace is doing about the same. The storming persists and Mom is becoming concerned about some of the possible side effects that the drugs could have on Grace. The drugs do help with the storming, but on the other hand the drugs could cause other serious problems.

Mom's gull bladder issues persist. She is in a lot of pain and is having trouble sleeping due to the pain. Her appointment with the surgeon to discuss surgery is this coming Wednesday.

Mom had some quality time in scripture with Grace today. She was reminded in one of the Psalms to rejoice and to look back at the miracles God has done in the Bible and also with Grace. She said that sometimes it is hard not to let go of the promise God has given her of healing Grace, but she continues to persevere.

Please pray for:
  • Complete restoration for Grace
  • Storming to cease immediately
  • Mom's gull bladder - upcoming possible surgery
  • Details to fall into place for moving to a better place for Grace
  • Medical staff to have wisdom with Grace's care
  • Rest for the family
  • Times of laughter and joy amongst this storm
  • Financial Provision (If you are interested in helping in this way please e-mail info@gracegoodday.com for more information.)

Praise God for the time Dad spent with the boys at the zoo today. This is awesome!!!

Also, praise God that Mom spent time reflecting on the things God has done for Grace. The miracles Jesus did in the gospels are still applicable for today.

I pray for wisdom for the medical staff to care for Grace and that she continues to progress forward rapidly. I bind storming and side-effects from any medications that have been given to Grace and loose God's miracle-working restoring power. Grace is healed by Jesus' stripes. She is a new creation in Christ Jesus--all things are made new.

I thank the Lord for healing Mom's gall bladder. The pain has to go in Jesus' Name.

I pray that their move to the new apartment will be a smooth transition and that it will happen soon.

It is wonderful that Mom and Dad are spending some time together today. I ask the Lord to increase this time and family time as Grace continues to be healed.

I am thankful that Mom and Dad continue to persevere in prayer and care for Grace.

We thank You God for the steadfast way You have walked beside this family. Continue to give them wisdom, peace and joy. Give them a Sabbath's rest from worries today. Grant Grace a Sabbath's rest from the storms, that she may quickly come to a time when she remains storm-free and will come to complete consciousness.

In Your precious name I pray, Amen.
