Eye Contact

The storming episode lasted more than 24 hours, but we are happy to report that Grace was storm free today! She is continuing to shake the rattle. Mom also commented that she is looking at people when they talk and turns her eyes/head toward whoever is talking at the time.

Grace has 4 out of 5 days booked with an appointment this week. The one appointment in particular that needs prayer is her Physical Therapy appointment. They think Grace is loosing tone in one of her arms - interestingly enough that is the same arm/hand she is using to pick up and shake the rattle. There is treatment that could help with the tone of the arm, but would hinder mobility at this point. Mom is not sure she wants to do anything to limit mobility at this point.

Please Pray For:
  • Continued increase in responsiveness
  • Complete healing and restoration
  • Wisdom when discussing options with the Physical Therapist
  • Rest amongst the appointment filled week
  • Financial Provision (If you are interested in this area please contact info@gracegoodday.com)

Praise God that the storming has stopped permanently in Jesus' Name and that Grace is completely healed by Jesus' stripes.

Praise God that He is able to do exceeding, abundantly more than we can ask for or even think of according to His power that is at work in us. Grace's arm is healed and completely made whole in Jesus' Name. Praise God that she is using it to shake the rattle. I speak to her arm and command the tone to come back to normal in Jesus' Name. God is turning everything for good for Grace today.

Praise God that every appointment that Grace has this week shows amazing improvement. Praise God that Grace is able to turn her head and look at people when they talk.

Praise God that Grace is weaned off medications, that she is coming back to her normal self, and that her mobility is restored completely.

Praise God for rest for Grace and her family. Praise God for financial provision and every need met for them.

Praise God for wisdom for Mom and Dad when they meet with the Physical Therapist. No unnecessary or damaging procedures will take place in Jesus' Name. Jesus is Lord over Grace and His angels of protection are surrounding her at all times. The Holy Spirit is performing miracles for her daily.

Shalom -- nothing missing, nothing broken.

Thank you Father for hearing and answering our prayers and for all you are doing for Grace and her family. Continue to lead, guide and direct them and their physical therapist in each step and decision that needs to be made, in the name of Jesus we ask it, amen.

I thank You God for the way You have continually walked beside the family. I thank You for family and church family. I thank You for bean bag chairs and rattles, for storm-free days and eye contact.

I ask that You would continue to walk alongside little boys, showing them their importance to both the family and to You. Bind together Mom and Dad's marriage. Give them Your strength, joy and peace.

I also ask for You to guide conversations during medical visits. Help both caregivers and parents to understand what they need to, to best care for Grace. Show them which medicines Grace needs to be on, and what is the proper dosage. I ask for agreement on what therapy is most appropriate. I ask that You would grant favor with Grace among the nursing staff.

Most of all I ask for You to rewire Grace's brain, so that she can communicate joys and concerns, laughter and heartaches. Help her as she grows. I ask all of these things for Your glory's sake, in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
