The other day she began attempting to pass a rattle back and forth between hands. She's also able to recognize voices and get excited when mom or dad walk into or out of a room! It's still unclear if she has vision or not. It sounds almost as if Grace has taken a few steps back developmentally as she's tried to recover. Now that her body is getting things under control, she's quickly retracing all the developmental milestones a newborn would go through.
Mom and dad have ruled out one experimental form of treatment, as their research indicated that the best application doesn't match up with where Grace is today. They continue to actively pursue things that will help Grace.

- Rest for Dad and Mom as family is in town

Praise God that Grace is making amazing progress and that she is completely healed by Jesus' stripes.
Praise God that Grace is re-learning all the things she once knew and that she is attempting new things all the time.
Praise God that Mom and Dad have ruled out one experimental form of treatment that isn't beneficial for Grace and that they are pursuing every possible avenue for her continued development.
Praise God that He has restored Grace's vision and that her eyes follow voices and people as they move about the room.
Praise God that Grace responds happily to Mom and Dad's presence in her room.
Praise God for Mom and Dad's strong marriage and loving communication.
Praise God for rest for Mom and Dad and for the help that the Lord has sent to them.
Praise God the provision of every need for this family, financial and every other area. God is good all the time.

Praise God that mom and dad were able to bring whole family along with grandma to church yesterday! It was encouraging to see everyone together!
Father, we plead before you, for continued healing for Grace and for this family. Guide every word and every touch given in care for each of them.
Thank you Jesus, for helping us to know how you would use each of us in support and care for the family. Help us know how to be in your will in these days...

Thank You, Lord, for the way Grace is fearfully and wonderfully made. Thank You for the special plan You have for her. Thank You for wisdom regarding her treatment. We continue to lift up every aspect of this family's life and relationship.
