Finally Able To Touch Base

Mom and I were finally able to get a hold of each other after quite a while. The family has been busy with family visiting and lots of appointments. Dad and Mom were able to go to a wedding this Friday by themselves. This was the first time they had been out by themselves since the accident.

Grace had some storming on and off on Friday and today. They are going to start weaning her off some medications and see how it goes.

As you can imagine there are a lot of logistics in order to care for Grace. Please pray for all the different appointments, prescription refills and paperwork to run smoothly through this process.

Please Pray For:
  • Logistics of Grace's care to run smoothly
  • Medication weaning to be successful
  • Complete restoration and healing for Grace
  • Sensitivity of those around the family during this trying time
  • Financial Provision (If you are interested in helping in this way please e-mail info@gracegoodday.com)

I am praying and miss seeing you and the family. I am keeping in touch via the blog. Lots going in my family and am traveling. Praise for the time you got to spend together. Sorry I missed you in church this past weekend I was out of town. When I get back next week, let's get together.
Love,
Pam

Praise God that Mom and Dad went to a wedding for a much needed break from stress.

Praise God that Grace is healed by Jesus' stripes and that she is being weaned off some medications. I invite the Holy Spirit into this process to restore her to normal.

Praise God for organizing Grace's needs regarding appointments, paperwork and refills.

Praise God for His peace and His wisdom for Mom and Dad, the doctors, the nursing care people and any other people involved.

Praise God for meeting the financial needs of this family each day.

Shalom -- nothing missing, nothing broken.

Lord, I ask you for wisdom and discernment for both medical stafff and family during this time of weaning off medication. I also ask for an end to this long season of storming and for Grace's personality to shine through as medications are removed. Thank You for meeting the family's needs with blessings thrown on top. Give them a sense of peace in the midst of Your provision. I also ask for a sense of familiar routine, particularly for little boys. I ask all of these things in Jesus' name, that He would be glorified through answered prayers. Amen.

We do continue to ask you Father for complete restoration for Grace in Jesus's name. Sustain each family member, giving them your peace which passes all understanding throughout each moment of the day.
